#1 – Nick Perna discusses the theoretical and practical aspects of passive edges and active edges.  Elite skaters spend very little time using passive edges in their programs, yet much of skating instruction assumes passive rather than active edges.  Nick explains in detail.
#2 – Olympic coach Audrey Weisiger breaks down the mechanics of jump landings in detail. Instead of leaving the actual landing up to chance, a thorough review of the landing provides insights that help skaters and coaches at every level.

#3 – Moves, Turns, and Footwork Expert Karen Olson teaches backward inside loops. There is a ton of detail in this video, including drills and specific body positions and movements.  Great tips.
#4 – Olympic coach Michelle Leigh teaches an on-ice jump class to a group of young skaters. The class works through all the single jumps in the multi-part series and throughout we get to see Michelle’s teaching methods with a focus on head control among other things.
#5 – Nick Perna shares and important edge and power drill called the Bread Drill. This popular video and drill is especially effective for building control of “active” edges rather than passive edges.
#6 – Olympic coach Kori Ade shares some great drills for developing the double loop jump. There is a huge amount of information in this video, many drills, and important concepts that all skaters and coaches should know.
