#1 – Chris Conte offers insights about how skaters learn, and he shares recommendations for improving basic skills instruction.  This video series is one of the most popular video series ever at iCoachSkating.com. Chris explains ways that coaches can speed the learning process by incorporating basic rotation and edge power drills earlier in the learning process.
#2 – Nick Perna and Audrey Weisiger teach an on-ice axel class. This is a 5 part video series covering nearly every aspect of the axel, including double axel development.  Everyone should know this information about this challenging jump.
#3 – Nick Perna gives a lutz lesson to fix an edge change problem (flutz). Edge changes on lutz jumps are one of the most common jump errors and Nick explains a number of drills and methods he uses to fix this problem.  This is a 4 part video series.
#4 – Olympic coach Michelle Leigh gives a thorough explanation of how she teaches a loop jump. This is a very detailed video and Michelle does a great job addressing the most common errors.
#5 – Olympic coach Audrey Weisiger discusses various aspects of the single, double, and triple toe loop. This video covers the important points well and Audrey has a clear and structured way of sharing information.  The demonstration jumps on the video page are a major bonus.
#6 – Olympic coach Michelle Leigh provides a thorough explanation of how she teaches the flip jump. There is a lot of detail in this presentation, with important timing information every skater and coach should know.
