Coaches Stephanie Chace Bass and Tiffany McNeil of Park City, Utah have partnered together to found The Strategic Method which they refer to as “a simplified approach to coaching figure skating under the International Judging System.” Together they have created a valuable Facebook and Instagram presence with regular posts and updates covering important and interesting aspects of the International Judging System.
Although IJS information is constantly changing, they have offered to provide iCoachSkating with some overview information that everyone in competitive skating really should know. Those especially interested in IJS topics should definitely follow them on social media (links below).
Stephanie and Tiffany have been to technical panel school as observers multiple years in a row, but have not tested. This means they do not have any conflict of interest and are available to consult with other coaches and skaters around the world. They are also available for clinics, seminars, in-person lessons, email/video lessons, and real-time FaceTime or Skype lessons.
Tiffany McNeil is a national level coach with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sport Science. She competed at the national level as well, and currently holds a PSA Senior rating.
