Jackie Brenner

Jackie Brenner is a National coach who teaches in Oklahoma City, OK where she is the Director of Figure Skating Operations at Arctic Edge Ice Arena and nearby Blazers Ice Centre. She’s been coaching for over 25 years, and has taught U.S. Figure Skating Regional Champions as well as Sectional and Junior National medalists.

Jackie has been heavily involved with US Figure Skating and the now-disbanded Professional Skaters Association, receiving many awards and honors for her service to the sport in the United States (including the 2000 PSA Developmental Coach of the Year, the 2006 PSA Volunteer of the Year, and the 2009 PSA Lifetime Achievement Award). She is a strong advocate for coaches education and development and she’s a highly sought-after guest speaker for figure skating clubs throughout the USA.

Jackie’s skaters benefit from her extremely positive energy and attitude, and she is well-known not only for her technical coaching ability but her focus on character, integrity, superb sportsmanship and being a positive role model for others.

Although primarily a figure skating coach, Jackie is also a highly-respected hockey power skating instructor. She worked with Professional Hockey Player Matt Donovan (Defenseman for the New York Islanders) from a young age on power skating encompassing edge quality, turn execution, speed, and agility drills. She continues to work with hockey players at all levels in the OKC area.
