In this video
Trevor Laak provides a summary of a typical G2C seminar. This information,
including video taken at an actual G2C Seminar, is valuable for coaches making
decisions about whether to encourage their skaters to attend G2C events.
It is also helpful for coaches to determine if they themselves wish to attend.
We also encourage skating clubs that are seeking to host a
seminar to watch this review. As Trevor says in his review, G2C Seminars
have an exceptional staff and they are incredibly engaging for most skaters.

Below is a video of the Jai Ho group choreography number at the
very end of the G2C weeklong summer camp in Faribault, MN in August 2009.
The skaters had a great time at this camp. You can see in the video how
the kids really enjoyed themselves and built some lasting friendships. It
was also a great time for the coaches. Please share this with everyone you
think might be interested. I believe G2C will hold a similar camp in 2010.

As a newer coach I was as excited, if not more than, my students to attend. Besides everything Trevor describes in the review, I feel one of the most important tools my students came home with was confidence. They had a new energy flowing through them, realizing that they too can accomplish great things in skating and all it takes is their own desire. Thanks for all the work to put the Jai Ho video together. I am sure this is one of the favorite parts of Super Camp for many of the kids and what a great job Kori did with basically three practices and only one time having all the groups together on the ice. Remember the lawn runthrough?
I get all choked up seeing the G2C group hug at the end and the kids impromptu chant. Cannot wait for Aug and this year we will have Young Artists Showcase, a contest for choreographers.
